When I was much younger, I would spend every moment I could playing in the parks and (still) semi-wild places around my home in London. Nature was always my safe and exciting place becoming a very junior member of the RSPB (Royal Society for the Protection of Birds at around age 8.

My early life with a camera was contributing to UK Country Life and as a real estate photographer.

Having traveled much of the world and eventually settling in the pristine wilderness of Lutruwita {Tasmania}, I now gain inspiration and joy from the abundant beauty that is my home island.

Photography has been part of my life for nearly 40 years, but it is only of late that botanical photography has become my passion. As you can imagine we in Australia and more so Tasmania have nature in abundance with every beach, mountain, forest, and desert being something to take your breath away.

We are also surrounded by some of the last pristine ancient forests left on the planet and are habitat to many endangered species of mammals, insects and my special love the vast world of botany!

You may not be able to visit us here but you can own a piece of nature’s art on paper!
